Kitchee 0-4 Chelsea
Well well, this result isn’t what we hoped for but we have prepared for this outcome while watching the game. Hong Kong side Kitchee put most of their effort defending and it didn’t turn out very well, because Chelsea obviously, is in a higher class. And as a few Hong Kone players were reserved for today’s World Cup qualifier, Kitchee is not using their strongest team, Chu Siu Kei and captain Lo Kwan Yee only played for about thirty minutes in the second half. Our footballer of the year, did not get much support up front was not much of a threat to Chelsea’s defenders.

You may have realized that Kitchee has a number of foreign players, most of them are from Spain with one from Australia, Evans. Kitchee has a nickname, Hong Kong Barca as they have started recruiting Spaniards in recent year and trying to play the Barca style. ;) Young player James Ha may have gotten your attention too, who replaced Roberto Losada at the end of the match, he was awarded Best Youth Player of the year last season.
Goal scorers: Lampard, Luzardo (o.g.), Drogba, Sturridge

Oh, and sad to tell you that Torres still yet to score.
Now Kitchee will play Blackburn and Chelsea will fight for the champion with Aston Villa.

Barcelona* 2-2 Internacional
Not a very good start for Barcelona’s pre-season as they have two consecutive draws in their pre-season matches. It may be because Guadiola was using mostly young players for this two matches and his first team players were only as substitutes, but Thiago Alcantara continue his good performances since last season, scored the opening goal for Barca. And Barcelona won the penalty shootout when the game ended in 90 minutes with a two two scoreline.
Goal scorers: Thiago Alcantara, Santos; (Internacional) Nei, Damiao

Rapid Vienna 4-1 Valencia
As rumors going on about Valencia’s Juan Mata may join Arsenal, the Spanish club played against Austrian club, Rapid Vienna and lost. Soldado was sent off in the second half when Vienna was leading two goals, they went on two scored two more and Pablo Hernandez managed to get one for Valencia before the final whistle.
Goal scorers: Alar, Schrammel, Gartler (2); (Valencia) Pablo Hernandez

Hertha 1-3 Real Madrid
Real pocketed another victory while played against German side Hertha. With the boost of becoming one of the candidates for UEFA Best Player Award, Ronaldo scored the first goal for Real Madrid.
Goal scorers: Ebert; (Real) Ronaldo, Benzema (2)

Barcelona 2-0 Bayern Munich
Finally Barcelona grabbed their first win against Bayern Munich, again Thiago continue his form and netted two goals for the Spanish side.
Goal scorers: Thiago Alcantara (2)

MLS All Stars 0-4 Manchester United
Chicharito had a concussion during training and was hospitalized, so he missed the game and he may also miss the beginning of the season. With Beckham as skipper, Henry starting, United is still the stronger side, and netted four goals against MLS All Stars.
Goal scorers: Anderson, Park, Berbatov, Welbeck
