Match To Catch: Blues vs Reds
"I want one!"

Torres seems determined to end his four months goal drought tonight. Yet, since his last goal was against Swansea, and didn’t manage to score against big or small teams after that. No wonder Chicharito said "Not a chance, Fernando. Not tonight." He had a point there you know. Torres should probably think more about how to stop the Red Devils from scoring than to get a goal himself.

Match to Catch: Chelsea vs Liverpool
The international week is over and the Leagues are back. A couple of big games await us this weekend in the Premier League. It will begin with Manchester City versus Newcastle United, just a few hours later. Both teams remain unbeaten since the season began. Will someone’s record ends today, or will the game ends with a draw instead? If Newcastle managed to win tonight, they will become second on the table (at least for a while until Man Utd beats Swansea).

No, we are not going to get into the Fabragas saga. Okay, maybe a little. There are still no official statements from either side that tell us about Fabragas’ future. But from the interactions of the trio (i.e. Puyol, Pique and Fabregas) on Twitter, we assumed that Cesc will be back in Barcelona very soon, if not already.

We bet many of you can’t wait to see this game, Beckham to play against Manchester United again. This time representing the MLS All Star, together with Henry, wondering if Henry misses his old time rival? Too bad that US national team star Landon Donovan was ruled out from the game due to injury, if not the game is gonna be more EXITING!

There are three Premier League teams in Hong Kong at the moment, Aston Villa, Blackburn and of course, Chelsea. They are there for the Barclays Asia Trophy, and it begins tonight. Blackburn will play Aston Villa; and our Hong Kong club Kitchee, will take on Chelsea. The tournament will be broadcasting live in more than 29 countries, including Malaysia. Winners of both games will play each other on the 30th July, the other two teams will fight for third place on the same day.

The Unpredictable COPA 2011

While the major leagues are having their summer break, COPA 2011 definitely ease the boredom of all football fanatics. The fact that teams like Brazil and Argentina performed so badly, has actually make this tournament more interesting to watch.
