Community Shield: First Trophy for Man City

Community Shield indicates the new season is just around the corner. Sorry for missing in action and lack of updates lately, we were just enjoying the summer holiday like what our footballers always do. Since now they are all back in action, so do we. After a busy summer with Euro 2012 and Olympics occupying our TV lately, the beginning of new season is going to slow down our life a bit, back to the usual weekend routine.


The past weekend was the community shield game, played between Chelsea and Man City, yeah, not Man Utd. Although Chelsea managed to take the lead earlier in the game, Man City scored three terrific goals, turning over the game like how they turned the table in the last Premier League game last season. The final score was 2-3 and Man City becomes the first team to win a trophy (or a shield) in the new season.

The 2012/2013 season will begin this weekend, with West Ham, Southampton and  Reading back in the league, we are expecting some exciting moments.
