Four years ago, they became the champion of Euro 2008; two years ago, they added another title to their pocket, the World Cup champion, and when people think that must be the top a team can ever be. Now, they became the first team in history to lift three major trophies in a row and becomes the first team who successfully defended the Euro Cup champion. World Cup awaits them in two years time, with such great players and talented youth in the team, it seems possible for them to lift the World Cup trophy once again.

Euro 2012: Group D Sum-up
Just a quick update today on Group D, as we need some sleep to know who will be the last two teams to qualify into next stage. Okay, here we go:

Euro 2012: Group C Sum-up
Being the defending champion, Spain didn’t come out very strongly. In the same group as Italy and Croatia, they do have some challenges to face. Today, Spain is going to take on Croatia and Italy plays again already-out Ireland. Who do you think will stay in the tournament?

Euro 2012: Group B Sum-up
The outcome in Group B after two rounds is probably the most shocking among all? Yes, they are the group of Death, so we have expected some dramas in the group, but never thought the biggest failure would be Netherlands. One of the finalist in the World Cup might not be able to make their way through in Euro 2012, hmmmm that’s shocking!

Feature: Euro 2012 Predictions
I have given some thoughts to the groups of Euro 2012 after the draw and feel like making some wild guesses. Feel free to disagree with my choices! ;)
Most Unpredictable Group: Group A
Group A consisting Poland, Greece, Russia, Czech. Personally, I think this group can be quite tricky, simply because they don’t have a team that stands out. Yes, Russia looks like the strongest among all but the gap isn’t that big after all. So any combinations is possible for this group. We may see some new faces in quarter-finals. My prediction? Russia and Poland. The host always has some advantages, no?

Missing Out BIG Times…

Okay, let’s see what we had missed last week. We missed the exciting last game day of Euro 2012 Qualifiers. Failed to witness our Spain team secured all 24 points in the group stage and goes into finals with their head held high without losing a single game in the qualifying!
We missed the play-off draws of Euro 2012, not because we are too busy but indeed last week was one of the least productive week for us in months, as I was sick and spent most of my time on my bed, or next to the toilet bowl, so we were unable to provide you with the latest news in the football world. We are deeply sorry about that! But since my body was complaining about not getting enough attention from me, I decided to get more rest and did as little as I can last week.

Torres Provides Bitch-face for Free
We are terribly sorry for the delay, this week our blog didn’t update as regular as we promised, but things will resume to normal next week! We also want to emphasize that Torres’ bitch-face is not easy to capture.
Apparently, Torres bitch-face is not as pricey as his goals. He managed to show plenty of them during the game between Spain and Liechtenstein, when he was on the stand (not the bench) watching his national teammates played. It was not much of a surprise when Del Bosque finally decided to drop Torres from the lineup, as Spain has plenty of strikers who actually score goals.
