Picture of The Day: Hello, Andesron!

We saw this picture all over Facebook today, and as Photoshop is so popular nowadays, of course we have to double check with some match video clips. And guess what? Yes, this picture is real. Man Utd tries to expand their squad by signing Andesron.

andesron

Sir, How do you pronounce your name, please?

Picture of The Day: Puss on the Pitch

This is rare, huh? To see a cat running round on the pitch. Guess the cat wants to have a taste of football, so it decided to join the players during the Liverpool-Tottenham game. And no one stopped it yesterday, everyone was looking and smiling until it walks to the sideline. Probably they already foresee that would be the most entertaining part of the game.

Bet all Liverpool fans were envy, as it must be everyone’s dream to step on the Anfield grass.

Picture of The Day: Football Fan Gets Creative

I know it is nothing new to see a fan running on the pitch during a game, or even rush toward a player to give him a hug or whatsoever. But handcuffs himself to the goal, THAT is new! It is also very creative and smart. How is this smart? Because the staff can’t just lift you up and throw you out.

Picture of The Day: Paul Scholes is Back

The Manchester Derby? The red card? Even the result of the match were all not important enough to catch the headline that day. Why?  Because Paul Scholes is back in action! A shocking name appeared on the team sheet that day and surprised the world. Paul Scholes came out from retirement and will play for Manchester United till the end of this season. No wonder Sir Alex Ferguson is not looking for any new signings during the January transfer window. But what do you think about Paul Scholes back in United? Is he the solution for Man Utd?

Picture of The Day: Don’t Be Shy, Girl

Oh girl, there is no need to be shy! You are standing right in front of The One and Only David Beckham. I am sure a lot of girls are dying to be you and will do whatever it takes. ;) (Am I one of them? Nah, I ‘heart’ some other players.)

Picture of The Day: A Promised Tattoo

ramos tattoo(fb)Image via Facebook

Someone promised to tattoo World Cup trophy on his body if his team won it. It was more than a year since World Cup and he finally did it. Do you still remember who is he? Yes, the one and only Sergio Ramos has just added another tattoo to his body. This is his 13th tattoo and we wonder if he will add more in the future? Maybe the Euro trophy on the other leg if Spain wins it again! ;)

Picture of The Day: Donovan Gives Becks a Dream Exit

Champion of MLS Cup is the first title Becks won in the United States. As well as the first title for LA Galaxy since 2005. David Beckham’s five years contract with LA Galaxy is coming to an end. The MLS Cup final against Houston Dynamo is believed to be David Beckham last game with LA Galaxy. So nothing could be better than being the winner of the game and takes the trophy back home. With a little help from Landon Donovan, Becks has gotten both.

Picture of The Day: WOW! Balotelli at the Goal

For the million things that Balotelli has done, like setting up firework in his bathroom, asking god why he always scores. What would he do if he plays as a goalkeeper? Maybe….Catch the ball with his mouth? Oh man, we would love to see that happens! lol

Have to keep this one short, exam coming up tomorrow. Wish me luck, and happy watching football without me later! =(

Picture of The Day: Iker 126

Iker Casillas, Casillas Iker casillas, Casillas, 126 appearances

126, a record set by Andoni Zubizarreta, who was Spain’s most-capped player. Was? Because we all know Iker Casillas will break the record soon enough and set a much higher number for others to break. Iker Casillas used just 11 years to equal the record, and he is just at his 30, fairly young for a goalkeeper. It was good that he managed to celebrate his 126 appearances at Wembley with a clean sheet, as Lampard didn’t score until Reina stood in front of goal.

Congrats Iker, one of the best goalkeeper in the world! 126 and counting…

Picture speaks louder than words. We will leave it for you to decide, will Rio leads a new trend in fashion. Maybe he can consider being a model after he retires from football, no?

Serving a club for 25 years, won many titles and have the North Stand of Old Trafford named after you, what else can you ask for? Alex Ferguson celebrated his 25th years at Manchester United with a victory at home against Sunderland yesterday, the game ended in 1-0 with an own goal scored by former Man United player, Wes Brown. Maybe that’s his way of thanking Fergie? =P

Well well, Fabregas looked all lovey-dowey while touching Puyol’s hand watch. His heart must be screaming ‘I want it!’, 'Okay kid, I will get you one as Christmas gift. Stop touching me!!’

Well, where is little Archie’s head? So I guess Jack’s big head plus a baby skeleton body does look a bit scary, no? Nah, think Archie is just too cute to scare people away, I think this team must have gotten themselves a lot of candies yesterday!

Picture of The Day: Sergio(s) and Golf

We know this is an old picture, but since we are going to a golf course to watch our first ever golf tournament tomorrow, it reminds us of the picture: Ramos playing golf. And this reminds us of Spanish golfer Sergio Garcia, not only because they share the same first name, but Ramos’ full name happens to be Sergio Ramos Garcia. Unfortunately, Sergio Garcia is not going to play in CIMB Asia Pacific Classic Malaysia that we are going to watch tomorrow. :P

Picture of The Day: Why Always Me?

No one can forget this three words after tonight, “Why Always Me?”, we can’t help but laughed when Balotelli revealed his shirt after scoring the first goal. “Why Always Me?”, the sentence passed our mind again, after Balotelli scored his second goal for City today. “Why Always Me?”, third goal scorer Aguero, forth and sixth goal scorer Dzeko and fifth goal scorer Silva can ask the same question as well, as they always make it to City score sheet. Oh what? We didn’t mention Man Utd lost 1-6 at home? Think everyone should know it by now, and maybe Ferguson can finally feel Arsene Wenger’s pain, now that they are being trashed by their noisy neighbor.

Picture of The Day: Unite Against Racism

racism (daylife_getty)
Image via Daylife/GettyImages

To us, THIS is more important than Arsenal scores at the very last minute yesterday; more important than Torres scored two goals last night and ended his Champions League goal drought; more important than Barcelona’s disappointing 2-0 result or any other scorelines in the Champions League.

We still remember the black and white wristband that were released a few years ago, and recent incident between Luis Suarez and Patrice Evra apparently raised the racism issue again. We are not going to comment about the incident, whether we think who is right or who is wrong. Although racism does decline in football, it still exist, and we strongly hope that our players can be respected in every way, no matter what is their skin colour. As long as they provide us good football, we are happy! So let’s do what Captain Persie says, ‘Unite Against Racism’.

Picture of the Day: Photo inside a photo

3

Citizen players celebrated their first goal by snatching photographer’s camera and took their own picture. Although Tuen Mun managed to get an equalizer at the beginning of second half, Citizen went on to win the game by scoring a penalty near the end of the game, and this time, they celebrated by ‘playing golf’. Creative huh? And no, they didn’t practice that during training.

We took sometime to get inside the stadium for some local football during our holiday, and we had some great time there, for more match photos, click here! We also had a nice chat with Citizen player, Michael Campion, the article will be up as soon as we finished writing it! So, stay tune.

Hmmm world-class strikers can score in various ways, after significant improvements in back-heels and free-kicks, we guess this is El Guaje’s new trick!

Weekly feature is coming up on Sat =) Please come back for it, it will be on Torres.
