We are not going to get into detail here, but will highlight a few things that we think you will be interested.
The draw happened in Brazil and as you can imagine, a lot of Brazilian players were invited to take part in the draw. So who did we see last night? We saw Pele, Ronaldo, Cafu, Neymar, Lucas Piazon and more.

Picture of the Day: David Villa Shared Some Quality Time with Teammates
Image via Facebook
El Guaje just told everyone what he was doing in the USA, having dinner with Pedro and Busquets. One question immediately popped up in our mind, ‘Where are the rest of the teammates?’. While Dani Alves is still enjoying his holiday, we hope other Barca players are all having fun in the United State and we can’t wait to see them play against Manchester United later today!
Feature: Managers/Coaches are not Magician
This week is probably not a good week for coaches, Batista, coach of Argentina national team and Bradley, coach of the United States national team were both being sacked. We all aware that football world is very realistic, if you cannot provide good results, then sorry coaches, you will be removed from the position. Some coaches were horrible, they used their players in a wrong way, used ridiculous tactics, or just simply don't know how to coach, we get that, but along the way, we have also seen many good mangers/coaches being sacked.

We bet many of you can’t wait to see this game, Beckham to play against Manchester United again. This time representing the MLS All Star, together with Henry, wondering if Henry misses his old time rival? Too bad that US national team star Landon Donovan was ruled out from the game due to injury, if not the game is gonna be more EXITING!

Do you know…..?
Giggs’s father was black; Messi loves alfajores (a traditional caramel-filled confection); many footballers support the Williams and some other facts that we picked up by reading books, magazines and stalking our player’s twitters.

King of South America: Uruguay
Paraguay’s magic stopped working in the COPA America’s Final, because nothing can stop the real king from reaching the top. Congratulations to this amazing Uruguay team, who lifted the COPA trophy for the 15th time this time, one time more than the host Argentina. This South America team, after so many years, has finally risen again.

Bojan to AS Roma; Sanchez to Barcelona
Image via Zimbio/GettyImage
After Barcelona agreed a deal with Udinese to sign Alexis Sanchez, Bojan Krkic is even harder to see his place in Barcelona. So our boy decided to join Italian side Roma, hope Bojan will have a great future with the Yellow-Reds. A farewell press conference was held yesterday and Bojan ended his speech with ‘Visca el Barca i visca la Roma’(“Long live Barca and long live Roma” in Catalan). He is already on his way to Italy, but according to Skysports, Barcelona can buy Bojan back after two seasons with €13million. Fear of another Fabregas saga? ;)

It is very hard for us football fan to ignore Argentina's performance in the COPA 2011. Despite blaming Messi and asking to sack Batista, what really went wrong with the team?
La Liga and Other Player’s Twitters
So, here comes the second part of the list! We will soon move this two pages to the navigator so you guys can easily access it in the future. Lo siento, we didn’t cover all La Liga clubs because most of these players tweet in Spanish and our Spanish still at the very basic, but if you know any players who are not on the list and tweet really interesting things, DO TELL! =)

Uruguay into COPA2011 Final and more..
Image via FIFA
When we think may be, we will see Peru in Final because of the recent trend in COPA 2011, Luis Suarez said, nah, no more surprises! Suarez brings Uruguay into the Final by scoring two goals himself. Peru had some close chances but Muslera’s continued to perform well. At 68 minutes, Peru’s Risco received a red card when he elbowed Coates, but scoreline didn’t change afterward. Uruguay to the Final and will face the winner of Venezuela-Paraguay match. What do you say? Uruguay vs Venezuela? or an all ‘guay’ Final?

Brazil Humiliating Exit

Everyone will nod their heads in agreement, if we say this is the most shocking penalty shootout we have ever seen. Due to the overlapping time, we did not switch to the Brazil game until the Women’s World Cup final had finished. It was already the end of extra time, and we witnessed this horrifying shootout.

van Persie Likes His Chinese Name
Image via @Persie_Official
All Arsenal players wore a shirt with their Chinese name on it, while playing against Greentown. van Persie seems to like his Chinese name so much that he took a photo and put on Twitter. We wonder if Persie knows that this is Not his only Chinese name, he has a different name in Hong Kong, which is '雲佩斯' :D
Say Bye Bye to 'Full-Strength Teams' Rule
The Premier League has a rule that most football clubs would rather see it goes then stays. It is the E20 rule which states: 'In every league game, each participating club shall field a full-strength team.' The problematic rule will be loosened next season, according to an announcement by the Premier League earlier this week. We agreed that this rule is problematic too, if the rule didn't exist, the relegated clubs might have been different.

We were in shock when we saw the news about Mourinho wants Ronaldo to be the captain of the team, but yesterday during an interview with RealmadridTV and Realmadrid.com, the Portuguese coach finally clarified things.

West Brom Interested in Hargreaves and Other Transfer Rumors
More and more footballers use Twitter or Facebook to communicate with their fans, but none of them know the power of the internet as good as Owen Hargreaves. Hargreaves recently registered an account on Youtube and started posting his training videos, hoping this could give him a new contract. And in fact, it does work.
Argentina Grabbed their First Victory

After two draws, Argentina finally manage to tango on the pitch. Credits to Batista’s changes in lineup, the Argentina coach dropped Banega, Cambiasso, Lavezzi and Tevez, for Gago, Di Maria, Aguero and Higuain. Although we did not manage to catch the match, due to different time zone (an excuse for not being able to wake up early =P), we did catch up on the game by watching the highlight.

What's Villa, 'El Guaje' up to?

While most players still enjoying their holiday on a beach somewhere, David Villa took his time to play football with these kids, in his home town.
All these 'guajes' were wearing a shirt with our 'El Guaje' on it!
The Pre-season begins
So most clubs have named their pre-season squad, some disappointing (like Arsenal), some pretty exciting (Manchester United. Yes?).
Without signing any big names and a number of players threatening to leave the team, Arsenal is apparently having a pretty bad summer, or should I say Arsene Wenger is having a really bad summer? Clichy already moved on; Fabregas looks determined to leave the Gunner after so many transfer-window-dramas; Nasri, seems to be another player on his way out. Luckily, in the Asia Tour squad we can still see Nasri, van Persie, Wilshere, Walcott. But if Arsenal don’t manage to sign some players, will them be able to fight against Manchester United, Chelsea, and probably a stronger Liverpool? Maybe Wenger should start making some moves in the transfer market.

Asia Tour Disappointments
Fabregas just announced on Twitter that he will not be on the tour. After Gerrard being ruled out from Liverpool pre-season tour, here comes another disappointment to all Asian fans.
With all the transfer rumors going on lately, will the fans have another chance to see Fabregas in Arsenal shirt right in front of them? after they have missed this chance?
Can’t help but wonder, how is he going to make up for this. =D Thoughts?
The Unpredictable COPA 2011

While the major leagues are having their summer break, COPA 2011 definitely ease the boredom of all football fanatics. The fact that teams like Brazil and Argentina performed so badly, has actually make this tournament more interesting to watch.
