What Did We Miss?! Suspensions, New Twitter Account and more…

Yes yes, internet connection was downed for so long which kept us away from important football news!

Luis Suarez, Liverpool, Suspension1. Luis Suarez Suspensions

Apparently everyone was talking about Suarez’s suspensions lately and no, we are not too late. The racism incident has led to 8 matches suspension but Liverpool is appealing, so Suarez could still play in the previous game. However, the middle finger incident has given him an additional one match ban with immediate effect, so you will not see Suarez in the upcoming Liverpool game. If the appeal fails, there will be total of 9 matches suspension for Suarez, and I am sure this will give Dalglish some headaches.

2. David Villa Joins Twitter

The Guaje finally decided to give in to one of the most popular social network, Twitter. He is now on Facebook, Youtube, Flickr, Blog and Twitter. Looks like there will be a lot of things to keep him occupied while he is recovering from injury. If you are wondering does David Villa writes the tweets all by himself?  The answer is no. When you saw PD (por David) meaning it was written by David himself, but when you saw ED, it means it was written by his team. Want to see a full list of footballers on Twitter, go here.

3. Landon Donovan Back to England

I know a lot of people in England miss Donovan, especially Everton fans. You know what, he is back now after a year and such long wait. He will soon wear the Everton shirt and plays for them again. Are you excited?

4. Drogba may join Anelka in China

It is still a rumor, but looks like China club Guangzhou Evergrande could be able to grab Drogba during the January transfer window. They seem willing to pay a huge amount of money just to see Drogba running on China grass. China is a big market and I am sure people will be happy to pay the ticket just to see Drogba and Anelka.

5. Hong Kong vs Guangdong 1st leg

Guess what? We were in the stadium last night to witness this exciting game. With a few new faces on the pitch, Hong Kong performance was not bad but the game ended with a disappointing 2-2. 2nd leg will play in Guangzhou on 1st January, 2012. More photos and blog post about the match will be uploaded soon.
