You may be the one who always score, but you can’t always be the winner.
Sorry, not always you.

The ball is round. So it rolls to wherever it wants. It can still change side at the very last minute. Us football fan, are used to twists and turns in the beautiful game. We know nothing is secure until the referee blows the final whistle, like the game last night, the El Clasico and many others.

The game has many similarities as the El Clasico. It was always him, who scored the opening goal, Mario Balotelli, in just 2 minutes. Oh, but we know the team who leads, won’t always be the winner. Not for Real Madrid, not for Manchester City. The lead was equalized by Meireles in 34 minutes. Then a red card was shown to Clichy in the second half, which should have shown in the El Clasico as well. And guess what? Near the very end of the game, Lampard scored a penalty. The scoreline, 2-1, remains unchanged till the final whistle.

The ball is round, like a sentence from Bible. So true. We have seen happy faces turned into crying faces; players went from heaven to hell, all because of one word, football. Because the ball is round, Man City’s winning record was stopped. Because the ball is round, winning records were always broken by some other teams, when people were least expecting it. The mighty Barcelona lost to Hercules last season, Getafe this season. There is really no team is unbeatable. Thanks to Chelsea, every team in Premier League lost at least a game so far. This is what makes football so interesting, no?
