Manchester United 3-2 Manchester CityThe scoreline clearly cannot reflect how exciting this game was. Man City managed to score their opening goal near the end of first half, at 38 minute, a goal by Lescott. Then Dzeko went on to score another goal at 45 minute, 30 yards from the goal, De Gea made a mistake and the ball went in. Not sure if it is the pressure or expectations, De Gea didn't perform quite well in the first half, but it got better in the second half, he had done some good saves. Manchester United made three changes at half time, Phil Jones, Cleverley and Evans replaced Vidic, Ferdinand and Carrick. And these changes showed immediate effects, United scored their first goal at 52 minutes, by Smalling and the equalizer came at 58 minute, by Nani. United held on to their spirits and made a great comeback in yesterday's game. When everyone was expecting a penalty shootout (Community Shield goes right into penalty shootout if the 90 minutes game ended with a draw), Nani scored his second goal right before the final whistle, left City no chances to fight back.

Probably because the result is too hard to accept, so Man City official website was in denial. And put up Man Utd 2-3 City scoreline in the match report of their official website. Try harder next year, City.
