Book Review: Messi

Messi BookBook Title: Messi: The Inside Story of The Boy who Became a Legend

Author: Luca Caioli (He also wrote two other biographies, one on Torres, another one on Fabregas)

What is it about: Basically everything about Messi. It talks about Messi and football, from how he started his football career, till how he got to Barcelona and how he becomes a star (mostly on his life before becoming star). If you are a Messi fan, you will definitely like this book, because it touches on the other side of Messi, the side that is not under the spot light. It wasn’t just purely the author’s own narration, the book included interviews with people who know Messi personally, his family members, his coaches, his friends, even his enemies. It mentions the hardship in his life, his illness, his failures, even Messi is one of the best players now, he gets there with lots of hard work. A book that tells you a lot of things about Messi that you probably didn’t know.

Things need to be improved: We would hope this book can talk more about Messi’s personal life? Not just purely on football. We would love to know what he is like when he is with his family; what other sports he likes; or maybe get his girlfriend to do an interview ;) Just kidding. You will love Leo more after finished this book.

Messi Father
This is a photo in the book that we think we must share with you guys. No, the guy in green jacket is not Messi, he is indeed Messi father, who we think looked really like our Leo now. But among the young little boys, can you guess who is Messi? Leave a comment for your answer, and the correct answer will be reveal tomorrow. =) You can always click to enlarge the picture.

Quotes: ‘Football is his toy.’ ; ‘The fame didn’t change him, he is still the same shy boy I knew.’

Rating: 7 out of 10
Since you are reading this blog, we assume you guys enjoy reading, right?
