What caught our attention this weekend, was the Championship game between West Ham and Reading. Both teams are fighting for a direct promotion space to the Premier League, yet after the defeat on Saturday, Reading is already 4 points ahead of West Ham. Talking about losing precious points, in Premier League, Man City drew Sunderland on Saturday and  in Hong Kong Local League, SCAA and Pegasus both drew and lost points that may help them win the champion.

In Championship…

We still remember how well West Ham was doing and leading the table, looking all good to promote directly with Southampton. Yet, West Ham somehow only managed to win one game in the past seven games. Now they have dropped to the third place, four points behind second place Reading and six points behind first place Southampton. It is possible that West Ham may need to participate in play-offs to fight for a place in Premier League next season.

In EPL…

It was lucky that Man City managed to grab one point when they were once 1-3 behind, while played against Sunderland during weekend. After losing some really precious points recently, Man City is now two points behind Man Utd but United has played one game less, so they could be leading 5 points very soon.
Does City still stand a chance in winning the champion?

In Hong Kong League…

Not sure if it is a trend, but TSW Pegasus and SCAA both lost two points in their last game. Both teams have a chance to win the league champion but after drawing Kitchee on Thursday, SCAA’s chance looks slim. Pegasus still looking good as they played one game less than Kitchee and they are just one point behind Kitchee. Pegasus will play Rangers in their upcoming match and Kitchee will play Citizen.
Sham Shui Po has confirmed their relegation after losing to Tai Po.

We are going to make some changes to this blog in these two weeks. Please stay tune!
