Paraguay’s magic stopped working in the COPA America’s Final, because nothing can stop the real king from reaching the top. Congratulations to this amazing Uruguay team, who lifted the COPA trophy for the 15th time this time, one time more than the host Argentina. This South America team, after so many years, has finally risen again.

Uruguay was dominating the game throughout 90 minuets, Suarez continues his great performances and netted the opening goal for Uruguay, Forlan followed by scoring the second, and third goal. This attacking pair has already showed the world what they are capable of by bringing Uruguay into the World Cup semifinals. Yesterday, once again, proved to us that they are unstoppable. Forlan’s grandfather, Juan Carlos Corazo; father, Pablo Forlan, both lifted the trophy for the country before, and now Diego Forlan, again, like following a family tradition, has won the COPA America.

Luis Suarez was named the Best Player in the tournament, but he emphasized in a post-match interview that this is all, team efforts. We hope the Argentine heard what he said. Suarez can finally enjoy his summer holiday now, he will not be joining Liverpool in the beginning of the season.
Uruguay will participate in the coming FIFA Confederations Cup 2013 in Brazil.

Now that COPA 2011 is finished and the Leagues have yet to start, there is really nothing much going on in the football world except all the transfer gossips. So get prepare for something different and interesting during these few weeks! What?! Of course we will stay interesting. :D
