After two draws, Argentina finally manage to tango on the pitch. Credits to Batista’s changes in lineup, the Argentina coach dropped Banega, Cambiasso, Lavezzi and  Tevez, for Gago, Di Maria, Aguero and Higuain. Although we did not manage to catch the match, due to different time zone (an excuse for not being able to wake up early =P), we did catch up on the game by watching the highlight.

Argentina had a lot of chances in the early stage, if not for Costa Rica goalkeeper Moreira, who performed quite well, Argentina would have score much earlier and would have score more than three goals. Messi had a good game this morning, provided two assists. The change of lineup and tactics clearly allowed him to have more free space and with more teamwork, Argentina was finally playing their football. After this Victory, Argentina becomes the second team to get into the Quarterfinals.
Now the situation goes like this:

Group A:
Colombia and Argentina
Costa Rica still stand a chance but it is all up to the result of Group B and Group C. If Ecuador loses to Brazil; Paraguay loses to Venezula and Mexico wins the game against Uruguay, any two of theses happens, then Costa Rica will qualify.

Group B:Venezula looking good, but things could change as Brazil, Paraguay and Ecuador all stand a chance. If Venezula do not manage to win the last game, and Brazil wins, then it will be Brazil and Paraguay. On the other hand,  Ecuador, even unlikely, but (it’s football, anything can happen) if they manage to beat Brazil, and Venezula beat Paraguay, they will be in the quarterfinals, with Venezula. However, if Paraguay wins and Brazil lost, it will have to depend on the goal differences between Ecuador and Venezula. How about if both matches draw? Brazil and Paraguay both with 3 points, then it is up to goal differences again, so the situation can still twist in this group.

Group C:Since both Chile and Peru have 4 points in hand and they are facing each other in the coming game, a draw can see them both into quarterfinals, because even though Uruguay wins the game and all three teams has 5 points in hand, the team who comes third in the group will still qualify as the best 3rd team among three groups.

Any thoughts on who will be the Last 8?
