You must have gotten bored of us saying, ‘It was a crazy weekend.’ Yet, it was really one crazy weekend after another. Shall we begin with Torres scored two goals (yes, he finally scores.)? Or Real Madrid finally stopped winning? Or Pegasus and Citizen scored 10 goals in their game? Before we mention all these, we would like to dedicate this post to Bolton player Muamba, who is still in hospital fighting for his life. We really hope he will get well soon!

In EPL…

The biggest news in England last weekend, has to be the FA Cup game between Tottenham and Bolton, which Bolton players Fabrice Muamba collapsed on the pitch when the game was ongoing. Paramedics treated him on the pitch immediately and sent him to hospital afterward. The game was suspended as other players wouldn’t be able to continue after witnessing such situation. Muamba, 23, remains in a ‘critical conditions’ in intensive care. Bolton has decided to postpone their game with Aston Villa which was supposed to play mid-week and could also consider to withdraw from FA Cup as all staffs and players of the club are not in a good condition.

Torres scored two goals in the game against Leicester City yesterday. Torres gave a loud and clear message to Leicester manager who said he should learn from their strikers, proven that he can still score and ended his goal drought. He also provided two assists for his teammates. Chelsea is now through to the next round and will face Tottenham or Bolton in the coming game.

In La Liga…

All Barcelona fans must have waited so long for this moment, for Real Madrid to lose points. They just did in the game against Malaga on Sunday. Cazorla’s goal at 90 minutes saved his team one point and took away 2 points from Real Madrid. However, there is still a long way to go for Barcelona to catch up with the points. They are now 8 points away from Real Madrid.

Soldado continues his great form and scored hat-trick in the game against ten men Bilbao. He is really trying hard to fight for  a place in the national team. As Villa is still out, Torres not scoring enough, he may find a place in the Spain team alongside Fernando Llorente.

In Hong Kong League…

TSW Pegasus together with Citizen played an incredible game on Saturday. Pegasus scored their first goal very early at the 6th minute, and continue to score the second at 33rd, the third at 37th. Everyone was expecting a great goal difference game when Pegasus came out in the second half to score their forth goal at 53rd minute and fifth goal at 54th before Citizen finally scored their first goal at 61st minute. Due to lack of concentration of Pegasus defenders after leading so many goals, Citizen was able to score three goals in the last 10 minutes, two of them were penalties, both taken by Michael Campion. The game ended with a crazy 6-4 scoreline. Pegasus still managed to win the game and grabbed three points. Now they are still one point behind Kitchee.

Hong Kong Sapling grabbed another point in the game against Sun Hei on Sunday, continuing their great performance after drawing Pegasus in an earlier game. They will face Tuen Mun in the coming Sunday to fight for a place in FA Cup Quarter-final.
